Those in the construction industry are well aware of the damage that construction vibration can cause to adjacent structures. This is why GSI uses vibration instrumentation to monitor construction activity to minimize vibrations and their adverse effects on pre-existing structures.

GSI begins with a pre-construction survey to target existing cracks, document background vibrations, and define allowable vibration limits in the affected area. We then conduct on-site vibration monitoring, which provides input to control vibrations during construction. You receive a final report including a post-construction survey to determine changes to surrounding buildings during construction.

The advancements in vibration monitoring currently used by GSI can protect your company from damages occurring during construction activity. Let GSI monitor your construction work now so that potential damage to adjacent structures is no longer a concern.
